FAQ: registrations, clubs and players
Clubs register themselves with your league link or code and you approve every registration. Here is how rosters work from start to finish.
How do clubs register for my league?
You share an invitation link or your league code. Each club registers its teams and players by division from its own access, and you approve or reject each registration. One link covers the whole league.
Does the system validate player ages?
Yes. Each division has an age range and, when you approve players, the system checks the date of birth against the division they are registering in.
What if two teams want the same name?
The system warns you when two teams in the same division want the same name, so you can sort it out before they appear in the fixtures and standings.
Can I remove registrations or move a player to another team?
Yes. Registrations can be withdrawn and players can be moved between teams; you can also search players by name, club or team.
Are player photos public?
No. Photos are kept in private storage and only authorized users can see them; they are used for player IDs and match reports.
What if a club already uses Cantera Soccer for its academy?
It connects to your league in one click from its Cantera Soccer account and its registered players come across without re-entering them. When you publish the fixtures, the academy receives its matches to build its call-up.
